Each tablet contains:

Metronidazole .................................. 500mg

Excipient cbp ................................... 1 tablet

INDICATIONS:

Amibac is an excellent drug for the treatment of Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia spp., Trichomonas and Balantidium coli, in dogs and cats, as well as being an adjuvant in the treatment of enteric and systemic infections caused by anaerobic organisms.

DOSE:

Dogs: 1 tablet/20-30 kg of body weight (16.6 mg-25 mg/kg) every 12-24 hours for 5-7 days.

Felines: 1/4 tablet/5-7.5 kg of body weight (16.6 mg-25 mg/kg) every 12-24 hours for 5-7 days. On the recommendation of the Veterinarian.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION : Oral.

WARNINGS:

Metronidazole is contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to the drug or to nitromidazole derivatives. It is recommended not to be used in severely debilitated, pregnant or lactating patients. It should be used with care in patients with hepatic dysfunction. This product should not be used in cases of blood disorders, bone marrow or in cases of epilepsy. Store in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Product veterinary use only.
