Systemic antibacterial and antiprotozoal For the treatment of enteric protozoa: Giardia, Trichomona, Entomoeba and Balantidium. In cases of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria: hepatic encephalopathies, acute colitis, meningitis, stomatitis and dental prophylaxis.
