FORMULA:

Each tablet contains:

Cephalexin monohydrate……………600 mg

Meloxicam………………………….............……3mg

Excipient c.b.p…………………………1 tablet

INDICATIONS: Headaches. It is a product that is made up of cephalexin, which is an antimicrobial indicated for bacterial infections of the respiratory and genitourinary systems, in soft tissues, osteomyelitis and otitis. They act against Gram (+) and Gram (-) germs. Cephalexin is well, rapidly, and almost completely absorbed orally; food has little influence on its absorption. Maximum serum levels in dogs and cats are reached between 1.8 and 2.6 hours after oral administration and its bioavailability is almost 75% in both species. It contains Meloxicam which is an analgesic, antipyretic and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, which is a great aid to control pain, reducing the discomfort of animals that are under treatment.

SPECIES: Canines and Felines

DOSE: Half a tablet for every 15 kg of weight or one tablet for every 30 kg of weight. Every 8 or 12 hours. For 5 to 7 days. In Malassezia pachydermatis and Candida albicanis infections, three to five days of treatment is sufficient. On the other hand, for cases of Dermatophytosis, treatment can last up to 8 or 10 weeks, being the same for mycoses of internal organs and tissues.

Administration way: Oral.

WARNINGS: Do not administer this product to animals with hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics, in animals with severe renal insufficiency. Regarding the use in pregnancy, although cephalexin crosses the placenta, no side effects have been observed in the fetus.

SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal discomfort may occur. They are usually not severe and in their case they are of reduced frequency. Keep out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Product for exclusive use in veterinary medicine.
